Threshold Taekwon-Do Awards

Threshold awards one student from both the adult and junior school, the title of Student of the Year. The students selected show outstanding atttributes across multiple areas including: attitude, contribution to the School, grading performance, tournament performance, teamwork and leadership.

Adam Clarke Student of the Year 2005

The 2005 Threshold student of the year was awarded to Adam Clarke who had an amazing year in both Taekwon-Do achievement contribution to the club. Well done Adam!

Tim Meddlicott Student of the Year 2006

Congratulations to Tim for 2006 successes in grading and competition.

Anna Fielding student of the year 2007

In the final combined training for the year Anna Fielding was awarded the 2007 student of the year. Anna has had a excellent year with Taekwon-Do, with success at gradings, and outstanding committment and involvement with the School.

Gena Salmon student of the year 2008

At the Dunedin Mini Tournament, Gena Salmon was awarded the 2008 student of the year. Gena has been an committed student and massive contributor to the School throughout 2008. Well Done Gena!

John Burke Junior student of the year 2006

Mark Perry Junior Student of the Year 2007

Mark Perry was awarded Junior student of the year. Mark attends extra classes each week and recently won the Threshold Junior Tournament.

Briar Topp Junior Student of the Year 2008

Briar Topp was awarded Junior student of the year for 2008. Briar has worked extremely hard in 2008, advancing to the rank of red belt.
